Alberta Health Services

After the 2008 announcement by Ron Liepert, Minister of Wealth and Wellness, to form Alberta Health Services (AHS) as the province wide administrator of health care, AHS has contracted Beaver Emergency Medical Services to remain the provider in the county of Beaver. AHS provides oversight to Beaver Emergency Medical Services. This arrangement has been beneficial to the residence of Beaver County as we are able to tie in to a provincial system to improve our level of service, while maintaining a unique level of engagement with our community.

Our Medical Control Protocols are available for viewing from Alberta Health Services.
